Arrábida Getaway

Three nights, four days, tucked into the Serra da Arrábida. The house faces the sea, and a mountain where the sun comes rising from behind each morning. No cars are allowed down to the bay, so what you hear is cicadas, birds, the sea and the wind. The beach is a short walk away.

We open together on Thursday with a welcome circle and cacao ceremony. Each morning after that starts with coffee and tea while watching the sunrise, then yoga outside, before breakfast together. Days are for the beach, the water, spending time together, being wonderfully idle in the sun. One morning we'll get out on the water kayaking. We close the way we opened, together, in a circle, before heading home on Sunday.

It's just 8 of us for the getaway, staying together in one of the most beautiful homes I've ever spent time in.
